Our Applelec ECO Built Up Letters offer the perfect fusion of sustainability and style. Made from 100% recycled and recyclable closed-loop acrylic, and backed with Foamex containing up to 80% reclaimed post-production waste, these letters deliver eye-catching, premium aesthetics while dramatically reducing environmental impact.
Available in a variety of styles including flat face, rimless, and rim & return, they’re ideal for bold, brand-led displays. Each letter is designed for easy disassembly and recyclability at end of life, true circular design thinking. Integrated with AgiLight PRO Premium 2 LED modules, they also deliver outstanding energy efficiency, uniform illumination, and a longer lifespan, making them a smart choice for retailers focused on both style and sustainability.

Applelec ECO Lightbox
Sustainable Illumination Without Compromise
The Applelec ECO Lightbox is a stylish, low-energy alternative to traditional illuminated displays, developed to support retail designers, visual merchandisers, and display professionals in delivering eye-catching results with minimal environmental impact.
Its eco-conscious design combines a recycled wood pulp board backing, lightweight aluminium frame with high recycled content, and a recycled bottle skin face panel, printed using water-based inks. The lightbox is constructed without adhesives or glues, making it easy to disassemble, reuse and recycle, ideal for projects built around sustainability.
Interchangeable graphics allow for effortless updates, reducing material waste and supporting long-term use. Despite its minimal footprint, the ECO Lightbox delivers uniform illumination powered by high-efficiency LEDs, helping reduce energy consumption and running costs. It’s also compatible with timers, sensors, and low-energy control systems.

The Green Applelec LED Light Sheet 2.0 is the industry’s first fully sustainable, Grade A light panel, delivering exceptional illumination with unmatched eco credentials.
Engineered with a closed-loop, 100% recycled and recyclable, r-MMA acrylic, requiring less water and carbon dioxide in production, and reduces its contribution to air acidification and eutrophication, making it a far kinder material choice for sustainable display design.
At its core, the Green Applelec LED Light Sheet is embedded with Grade A, Super High-Efficiency Ribbon Tape, exclusive to Applelec in the UK. Delivering up to 227 lm/W, these advanced LEDs offer up to 50% energy savings and 20% brighter output than previous generations, providing powerful, consistent illumination while significantly reducing running costs. Panels can also be tailored to bespoke specification with a range LED options including High CRI, high efficiency RGBW, Tuneable White LEDs and more, allowing you to customise the construction to fit your design aesthetics.

Auragami
Sustainable Design Meets Flexible Illumination
Auragami is an award-winning flexible LED light tile, engineered with sustainability at its core. Designed to reduce waste and limit energy consumption, each Auragami tile uses just 11 watts to produce up to 1100 lumens, achieving an impressive 100 lumens per watt efficiency. Covering up to 10 sq. ft. per tile, it provides broader illumination using fewer tiles, minimising energy use and material requirements.
